- If using an oven, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and preheat the oven to 180° Celsius. If using an air fryer, cut out a parchment paper square and line the bottom of your air fryer basket.
- Place the brioche buns on the prepared baking sheet, or on a separate surface if using an air fryer.
- Bake or air fry the donuts for five minutes, just until warm.
- Meanwhile, put the butter in a microwave-safe dish and microwave on medium in 10-second intervals until the butter is melted.
- Remove the donuts from the oven or air fryer and brush with melted butter, ensuring the entire surface is coated.
- Roll the donuts in caster sugar/ cinnamon sugar.
