Description

This kale apple smoothie not only tastes great, but it's also a great way to add extra nutritional value to your day. With just a few ingredients, you can have a healthy breakfast or snack in no time at all. 


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Granny Smith apple (or variety of your choice)
  • 1 banana (preferably frozen)
  • 1 portion frozen kale (about 1/2 cup)
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons hemp seeds
  • 1 Cup water, milk or juice

Equipment

  • cutting board
  • kitchen knife
  • high-powered blender

Instructions

  1. Chop up the apple and banana into bite-size pieces. Add all ingredients to a good blender. 
  2. Start blending on low, then gradually increase to high speed. Continue blending until smooth.
