Description
This Biscoff hot chocolate is the perfect simple hot drink. Classic hot chocolate meets creamy cookie butter for a delightfully festive treat.
Ingredients
Scale
1/2 cup boiling water
2 Tablespoons hot chocolate mix
2 Tablespoons Biscoff cookie butter
1 1/2 cup full cream milk or milk of choice
Instructions
- Bring water to a boil in a kettle or on the stovetop. Once boiled, mix water, hot chocolate mix, and Biscoff spread in a mug. Use a fork or handheld frother to ensure the Biscoff spread incorporated into the hot water.
- Meanwhile, heat 1 1/2 cups of full cream milk until hot. You can do this by microwaving the milk in a microwave-safe Pyrex measuring cup, or on the stovetop in a small saucepan. The aim is to heat the milk just until hot, trying not to let it boil. If milk begins to boil, remove it from heat immediately.
- Pour the chocolate Biscoff mixture into the hot milk and stir well. Divide the hot Biscoff drink between two mugs.
- If you'd like, you can garnish your Biscoff hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate shavings, or chocolate powder for an extra-special drink.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
Didn't drink it fast enough? To reheat your hot chocolate, pop it back in the microwave at 30-second intervals until warm.
