Description

This Biscoff hot chocolate is the perfect simple hot drink. Classic hot chocolate meets creamy cookie butter for a delightfully festive treat.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup boiling water

2 Tablespoons hot chocolate mix

2 Tablespoons Biscoff cookie butter

1 1/2 cup full cream milk or milk of choice

Instructions

  1. Bring water to a boil in a kettle or on the stovetop. Once boiled, mix water, hot chocolate mix, and Biscoff spread in a mug. Use a fork or handheld frother to ensure the Biscoff spread incorporated into the hot water.
  2. Meanwhile, heat 1 1/2 cups of full cream milk until hot. You can do this by microwaving the milk in a microwave-safe Pyrex measuring cup, or on the stovetop in a small saucepan. The aim is to heat the milk just until hot, trying not to let it boil. If milk begins to boil, remove it from heat immediately.
  3. Pour the chocolate Biscoff mixture into the hot milk and stir well. Divide the hot Biscoff drink between two mugs.
  4. If you'd like, you can garnish your Biscoff hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate shavings, or chocolate powder for an extra-special drink.
  5. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Didn't drink it fast enough? To reheat your hot chocolate, pop it back in the microwave at 30-second intervals until warm.
